Drive change in emergency management education as an Education Designer with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency. This full time role focuses on crafting contemporary and effective learning solutions for diverse stakeholders. Reporting to the Team Lead, the Emergency Management Education Designer is responsible for the development and improvement of curricula that reflect contemporary principles of instructional design. You will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate the latest emergency management practices into training delivery. Additionally, your role includes providing support during provincial emergencies, ensuring that training effectiveness enhances Alberta’s readiness. Key Responsibilities: Design high-quality curricula focused on learning outcomes Maintain diverse training materials for classroom and online Recommend improvements to training programs based on analysis Facilitate stakeholder advisory groups for insights Strengthen internal design processes across programs Requirements: University degree in Education or similar field 2 years progressively responsible experience or equivalent Familiarity with provincial emergency management frameworks Proven skills in curriculum and instructional design Ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel on short notice Utilize your expertise in education to enhance Alberta's emergency response training systems.
