Graphic Designers (West Edmonton)

Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. Must have experience with large format printers, plotters and signage production. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in digital and print design, with the ability to develop visually compelling content that aligns with brand objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including Signages and layout - structure , logo creation, and marketing materials Brochures, Flyers ,Business cards , utilizing a wide range of industry-standard tools and software. "Applicants must be proficient in CorelDRAW and Flexi-Sign software" Duties - Develop engaging visual content for digital platforms, print media, and marketing campaigns. - Candidates must know how to prepare print-ready files, manage large-format printing, and understand Signage concept and 3D Layout , while demonstrating strong client communication - Design company logos, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and website elements. - Meet with clients or other team members to determine requirements and vision for design elements, which may include multiple strategy meetings. - Collaborate with marketing teams to produce compelling presentations and promotional materials. - Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors. - Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) CorelDRAW, Flexi-Sign and InVision to produce high-quality designs. - Apply principles of typography, visual design, and digital design best practices to ensure consistency across all projects. - Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively. - Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve design quality and innovation. Qualifications - Only candidates with knowledge of CorelDRAW,Flexi-Sign software may apply. - Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design, motion graphics, logo creation, and Signage design work. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), After Effects, Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, InVision. - Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines, especially if working in an agency - Attention to detail to ensure that all client or team specifications are met and free of any errors. - Patience to send creative designs through multiple approval processes and often work with several different people to get a job done. - Strong understanding of typography, visual storytelling, and branding principles. - Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly. - Familiarity with marketing strategies and digital advertising is advantageous. - Displays a positive attitude, and respect for the various departments within the business. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
