Overview Opportunity Are you a licensed insurance professional with a passion for delivering outstanding client service? Millennium Insurance is looking for driven and knowledgeable individuals to join our Personal Lines team, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow your career. We are currently hiring for two areas of Personal Lines: Current Business, and Renewals. We welcome applicants with experience in any part of this specialty. Responsibilities - Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, offering updates, and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy. - Communicate with clients to review current coverage, identify changes in risk, and recommend suitable insurance solutions. - Analyze risk profiles using tools such as Auto Plus and MVR reports and rate risks according to company guidelines. - Conduct detailed policy reviews, identify coverage gaps or red flags, and present clear solutions to ensure proper protection. - Prepare accurate quotes for new business opportunities and support cross-selling or upselling where appropriate. - Prepare renewal documentation and process endorsements with accuracy and attention to detail. - Maintain organized, up-to-date records of client interactions, policy changes, and file documentation. - Stay current on underwriting rules, carrier appetite, insurance products, and market trends. - Educate clients on the renewal and claims process while advocating for their best interests. - Collaborate with team members to support sales, referral, and retention goals. Qualifications - General Insurance License Level 1 or 2 and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. - Post-secondary education and/or CIP designation are considered an asset. - Strong knowledge of automobile and property insurance policies - Experience with Alberta regulations and Grid Premiums. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with insurance software and the MS Office Suite. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. - High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy when working with clients and colleagues. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative. How You Will Succeed In the first year, a successful Licensed Insurance Agent will have in-depth knowledge of the Company’s products and will consistently be meeting expectations while providing exceptional customer service. They will also actively seek development opportunities and continuously adapt to industry changes to stay ahead of the insurance market.
