Join our team to manage engineering and design aspects for significant renewable energy initiatives in Canada and the USA. You will lead the review of EPC contractor packages, ensuring compliance and providing technical leadership. Engage in high-voltage electrical design evaluations, oversee interconnection studies, and collaborate with EPCs to meet all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Review EPC contractor design packages for completeness and compliance • Assess HV substation and PV plant electrical designs • Ensure integration of MV and HV equipment • Collaborate with regulatory teams for design compliance • Lead specification and requisition of materials from vendors Requirements: • 10-15 years in electrical engineering design and commissioning • Experience in renewable energy projects, HV substations, and interconnection • Professional Engineer designation with APEGA or equivalent qualification • Robust knowledge of industry standards and grid processes • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to travel to the US Bring your technical leadership skills and extensive renewable energy experience to this pivotal engineering role.
