Canadian individual income tax return preparation for U.S. citizens living in Canada, U.S. residents working in Canada and Canadians working and investing in the U.Assist in carrying out cross-border income tax and estate planning Deliver industry and technical expertise relating to Canadian and U.S. individual income tax, social security and international tax treaties through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables Participate in expatriate policy design and implementation and in expatriate compensation design and implementation S. individual income tax policy and tax changes Correspond with clients and various government agencies to address client tax compliance issues Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts and highlights Collaborate with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines Lead engagement teams, developing effective relationships with clients while coaching and mentoring junior team members Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred) Completion of a CPA designation; 2 to 4 years of relevant public accounting or tax experience S. individual and income tax Experience working with accounting and tax software # Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2prl96
