CNC Machinist / Programmer This role combines CNC programming, setup, and operation with hands‑on manual machining. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CNC mills and lathes (Haas preferred), ESPRIT programming, and the ability to produce precision components to tight tolerances. Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) Develop and optimize CNC programs (ESPRIT preferred) Operate and troubleshoot Haas CNC equipment Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances (±0.0005”) Perform in‑process inspection using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Maintain production logs and quality documentation Operate manual equipment including manual lathe, manual mill, drill press, grinders, and general shop equipment Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures Support team members and mentor apprentices/junior machinists as needed Day shift (Monday–Friday), with overtime as required Journeyman Machinist certification preferred (or equivalent experience) Strong CNC programming experience (ESPRIT preferred) Experience with CNC mills and lathes (Haas preferred) Valuable computer and mathematical skills Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) High attention to detail and quality focus Comprehensive group insurance plan including medical, dental, and vision care, health spending account, and other benefits Retirement savings plan with company contribution Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
