Beauty Advisor (Edmonton)

The Opportunity Reporting to the Grocery Department Head, the Beauty Advisor is responsible for promoting products of the Health and Beauty Section to customers, executing the Customer Service Strategy, and achieving the sales targets. You Will - Execute the appropriate selling behaviors consistently to achieve results - Achieve assigned sales targets including both regular sales and promotion sales - Build client base through establishing and maintain strong customer relationships, follow-up on satisfaction of purchases and notifying customers of upcoming events/promotions. - Responsible for the HABA section merchandising maintenance, strictly follow the display guideline. Keep product and display clean and suggest product order to avoid out of stock. - Assist in the execution of special events, seasonal gift with purchase and holiday programs - Provide fast and accurate check-out service as well as courteous support in customer enquiry - Be attentive for products security and premium stock management. Able to handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communications with HO Health and Beauty Team - Other Responsibilities - Generate regular business reports as required - Leverage Product Knowledge as a differentiating factor in the service experience - Have good understanding of the competitors, market trend, and well aware of new product knowledge Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s) - You Should Have / Be - Demonstrate job commitment, accountable, reliable - Possess a positive, proactive, self-motivated work attitude - Good attendance record, comply with company’s rules and regulations - Always ready to deliver excellent customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately - Friendly and able to build rapport easily with customers - Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced retail environment - Minimum 1 year experience in Retail beauty store/brands - Possess good knowledge on health and beauty products and have passion in the industry - Ability to translate behaviors into optimal selling experience with the aim at reaching the targets - Full flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends/statutory holidays - Detail oriented; results-oriented; self-discipline - Demonstrate good communication skills Interested in developing one’s career in the supermarket industry - This is an active job posting for a currently vacant position.
