They manage financial modeling and reporting, and administer Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms to provide actionable insights. They further manage HomeEd’s audit and compliance processes, ensuring the timely, accurate, and secure provision of corporate information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis - Prepare monthly corporate financial statements and key performance indicator reports. - Construct and present external financial statements compliant with non-profit accounting standards. - Provide in-depth variance and trend analysis, and present strategic insights to senior leadership. - Support project financial analysis and underwriting, including preparation, due diligence, and stress-testing of real estate financial models, proformas, and transactions. System Management & Administration - Serve as the primary subject matter expert for enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial information systems. - Establish internal controls and validation protocols for data architecture. - Manage system upgrades, data governance, user permissions, security, and integrations. - Manage vendors as required to uphold and strengthen data and system integrity. Process Optimization - Identify and address bottlenecks in the financial close and reporting cycles. - Automate workflows and streamline financial data flows across multiple departments. - Document and support team member adoption of enhanced information processes. Audit and Compliance - Monitor and audit all active loans, mortgages, and grants to ensure compliance with funder criteria, covenants, and conditions. - Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits or financial reviews, coordinating audit schedules and preparing requisite working papers or deliverables. - Monitor insurance policies and claims, ensuring appropriate reporting and compliance protocols are fulfilled. - Resolve compliance inquiries or reporting discrepancies as applicable. Team and Cross-functional Leadership: - Manage and coach direct reports, overseeing their performance, professional development, and daily workload. - Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Information Technology functions to align business needs with scalable technical solutions. - Provide coverage for other members of the finance team as required to ensure uninterrupted business continuity. Health, Safety & Environment: - Prioritizes the safety of self and all employees by following HomeEd’s safety protocols and policies. This duty requires a proactive approach to completing field-level or positional-level hazard assessments, as well as actively participating in improving the overall safety culture of HomeEd. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. - A CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation is highly preferred. - Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in finance planning, analysis, and/or systems, including 2+ years of management and supervisory experience. - Hands-on experience with ERP and financial system management, migrations, and administration. Experience with Yardi Voyageur is highly desirable. - Advanced command of financial and data tools. - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. - An equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered If you are interested in this position, please forward your resume in confidence through Indeed.
