Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker (Edmonton)

Sahaba is a home care provider in offering compassionate in-home support and community programs for seniors. The Role As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, homemaking support, and assistance with everyday activities for seniors living in their homes. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys building meaningful relationships with older adults. Responsibilities - Provide companionship through conversation, social engagement, and activities - Assist with light homemaking such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing - Prepare simple meals according to client preferences and dietary needs - Provide personal care assistance - Driver's license and a reliable vehicle Requirements - Caregiving training or experience (Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker) - A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (you'll drive between client homes) - Legally authorized to work in Canada Preferred Qualifications - Experience in caregiving, home support, community support work, or volunteering with seniors - Ability to communicate in more than one language is considered an asset, particularly languages commonly spoken in our communities (for example Spanish, Filipino/Tagalog, Arabic, Punjabi, or Hebrew) - Available mornings and evenings Compensation & Benefits - Starting rate: $21.00 per hour - $0.40/km travel reimbursement when driving between client homes - Flexible scheduling - Opportunities for ongoing work and qualified growth - Supportive team environment Application Process Please apply directly on Indeed or directly on the Sahaba site: Candidates who move forward in the process may be contacted for a short introductory phone call followed by an in-person meeting with a member of our team.
