Electrician (Aldergrove)

Duties and Responsibilities: - Focus on facility and equipment electrical issues - Troubleshooting existing installations - Able to come in after hour call-ins - Install wiring and cables - Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes - Splice, join and connect wires - Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits - Troubleshoot and isolate faults - Install surface mount and/or overhead cables - Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures - Renovate electrical systems in commercial structures - Conduct preventive maintenance programs - Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications - Performs any other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Must be eligible to work in Canada - Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician - Journeyperson Ticket (Red Seal) Skilled Trades BC Certificate - Able to work at Heights, use ladders, operate scissor lifts, manlift etc. - Have valid class 5 driver license - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Knowledge of computers, plc’s, frequency drives and power generation equipment operations Earnings & Benefits: - Extended Health & Dental and Vision for Associates and their eligible family members - Life Insurance, STD - Paid Vacation Time - Safety Shoe Reimbursement Location: - 1735 256th St., Aldergrove BC V4W 2E1 Highline encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
