Sr. Supervisor, Process Engineering (Sulphate&ARO), Eastern Alberta (St. Paul)

What You'll Do

Supervision and guidance of the Sulphuric Acid and Sulphate Process Engineers to support safe, reliable plant operation

Stewardship of Redwater Gypstack Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO), including financial updates, long term planning, and strategy development.

Guidance and support of the Turnaround process for the units including MOC stewardship and oversight of PSSR coordination

Stewardship of MOC process (closure, approvals and backlog reduction)

Review of incidents and support of follow up investigations when required

Stewardship of PSM elements including PHA

Provide guidance and ownership of Operational Risk Management (ORM) by working with Operations/Maintenance/Engineering personnel to document and mitigate risk

What You'll Bring

Engineering University Degree, Chemical or Process or similar

Professional Engineer registered with APEGA

12+ years Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

Strategic leadership and personnel management capabilities

Understanding and familiarity with all disciplines of engineering

Solid understanding of chemical process operations and experience with site units, e.g. Sulphuric Acid, Ammonium Sulphate, Phosphoric Acid, Gypstack Operations considered an asset

Must be motivated and able to work in a team environment, exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, and have sound written and verbal communication skills.
