Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. Duties - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience - Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS - Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met - Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities - Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards - Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations - Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods - Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required - Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards - Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods - Knowledge of food industry terminology, food safety practices, and hospitality standards is beneficial - Experience with food handling, serving, and food preparation is a plus - Ability to work well in a team environment with good communication skills Join our team as a Server where you will have the prospect to develop your hospitality skills while providing outstanding service to our guests.
