Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining / monitoring and repairing production equipment.RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring Boilers Repair and maintain production equipment, both processing and packaging* Troubleshoot equipment failures and breakdowns* Work with scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Work Order system* Responsible for mechanical overhaul, shop machines and tools* Other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket* Industrial mechanic (millwright) is considered a strong asset* Experience in a food processing facility, as well as experience with automatic controls/PLC’s would be an asset* Candidates must be strong independent individuals while possessing the ability to function within a highly integrated team environment* Previous production experience is an asset* Experience or ability to be trained in operating multiple pieces of processing equipment* Demonstrated solid multi-tasking, problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills* Safety Focused* Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude* Proven communication and inter-personal skills* Should exhibit initiative, positive attitude, good judgement, diligence, and have an excellent work and attendance record* Schedule - Full Time Rotating 12 Hour Shifts - Evenings and Weekends* Salary Range - $40.25 Start Rate Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pckkr
