Role Summary We are hiring a dependable, high-energy burger cook to work under the direction of the Food Truck Manager. This role is hands-on and fast-paced. You will be responsible for cooking smash burgers to spec, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting smooth daily operations. This is a startup environment. You must be comfortable with repetition, heat, speed, and high standards. Key Responsibilities Cook smash burgers and fries to company standards Operate flat-top griddle and fryer safely and efficiently Follow portioning, seasoning, and cooking procedures exactly Assist with prep, stocking, and service during peak periods Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times Follow food safety and hygiene standards (hand washing, glove use, temperature control) Take direction from the Food Truck Manager and adapt quickly during rushes Support opening, closing, and daily cleanup procedures Follow us on Instagram to learn more about the organization @theoriginalgriddleco What We’re Looking For Reliable and punctual Able to work quickly under pressure Comfortable standing for long periods in a hot workplace Willing to follow systems and repeat tasks consistently Positive attitude and team-first mindset Able to take feedback and adjust without ego Kitchen or food service experience is an asset, but not required. We can train the right person.
