Aircraft Interior Maintenance Specialist, Ahuntsic North

Become a vital part of Porter Airlines as an Aircraft Interior Maintenance Specialist, responsible for the upkeep of aircraft furnishings and components. This role demands a proactive approach to safety and quality.

Reporting to the Manager of Line Maintenance, you will perform repairs on critical interior parts such as tray tables, cushions, and lighting. Under the guidance of experienced maintenance professionals, you’ll ensure all documentation is current and safety regulations are strictly followed. Supporting the training of new employees is a key aspect of this position, contributing to team competency and cohesion.

Key Responsibilities:• Repair and maintain cabin interior parts effectively • Ensure all repair documentation is up to date • Follow safety rules and practices during maintenance • Help maintain cleanliness in the shop or hangar • Assist in training of apprentices and new technicians

Requirements:• Must have completed secondary education • Diploma in aircraft maintenance required • Clean and valid Ontario driver’s license required • Mechanical experience is an asset • Capable of lifting a minimum of 23kg
