Under the direction of the department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, safe case handling, receiving, storing, preparing, checking, and shipping functions either manually or by operating material handling equipment, including rideable equipment. We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the team in our Ottawa Retail Service Centre facility located at

1980 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario . We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to showing up and completing the assigned tasks. Responsibilities

Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers

Operate Material Handling Equipment (training will be provided)

Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider weighing between 40 lbs (18 kg) and 60 lbs (27 kg)

Stand for lengthy periods with repetitive movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, and walking

Clean up accidental spills; participate in safety practices

Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers

About You

Criminal record check required and paid for by the LCBO

Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision

Fluent in English and proficient with numbers

Shifts

Afternoon, Evening, and occasional weekend shifts

Afternoon and Evening shifts provide flexibility for other commitments

Training and PPE

Provided with PPE (eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, dust mask)

Training takes place on the Day shift (8:00am– 3:45pm)
