Windows System Administrator (Laval)

We are seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to manage and support enterprise Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange On-Premises, and Windows Server environments. The role requires strong expertise in system administration, security vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, and operational support within a mission-critical workplace. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across support teams. Required skills & experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 7 years of experience in Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure administration. - Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domain Controllers, Microsoft Exchange On-Premises, Windows Server Administration, Vulnerability Management and Security Remediation. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. - Experience working within ITIL-based support environments. - Ability to work independently and take initiative when required. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. - Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations. Preferred skills & experience: - Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. - Experience with BMC Control-M, Cross File Transfer (CFT), Connect Direct, NetBackup - Familiarity with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring tools. - Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
