Java Developer (Greater Toronto Area)

Iris Software's client one of the leading Bank in Toronto is looking to hire for the following roles Job Title: Java full stack Developer Mode of Work - Hybrid ( 4 days onsite) Location - Toronto ON Mode of Interview - Face to Face 7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development using Java and modern web technologies Strong experience in developing front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular Expertise in building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java/J2EE technologies Solid experience working with SQL databases, writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning Experience with full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and application architecture principles Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD development practices Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills Nice to Have Experience developing and deploying microservices-based applications in cloud environments such as OpenShift, Azure, or PCF Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes About Iris Software Inc.
