Senior Sensor Fusion&Data Architecture Lead
Location: Mississauga, Canada (on‑site, 5 days a week) Compensation: CAD 110,000 – CAD 150,000 annually Major Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end sensor fusion architecture across people, machines, and enterprise systems (edge → cloud → analytics). Define reference architecture, data models, APIs, and standards to support simulation, digital twin, and agentic AI. Act as technical authority across vendors and internal teams,translating business needs into scalable technical patterns.Lead people‑based sensing initiatives, working directly with vendors to access and unlock available data. Partner with architecture and data science to validate data quality, coverage, and fitness‑for‑purpose, while ensuring privacy‑by‑design. Serve as primary interface with OT teams and vendors toidentify, access, and document machine‑generated sensor data.Translate operational use cases (reliability, prediction, optimization, flow dwell, experience, etc.) into concrete data and integration requirements. Validate signal meaning, consistency, and limitations, ensuring machine data is usable downstream for analytics and modeling. Rapidly prototype analytics and models combining people and machine sensor data to test hypotheses quickly.Create demo‑ready insights, simulations, and decision support artifacts to prove value and guide investment. Feed evidence back into sensing priorities, architecture decisions, and roadmap sequencing. Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent. Experience with enterprise data architecture, real‑time/streaming data, cloud and edge (Azure preferred), and system‑of‑systems design; experience in transportation, smart infrastructure, or operational environments. Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in IT or engineering, or related technical field with 10+ years of experience. Additional Information
