Role Description Reporting to the VP, Operations, the Manager, Production Operations is responsible for leading the Production and Manufacturing
Engineering teams. The role ensures operational performance across production planning, execution, and continuous improvement. This includes maintaining visibility on long-term production demand and capacity, overseeing ERP effectiveness, removing operational barriers, and driving performance through data, reporting, and team leadership. The role also plays a key part in developing team capability and fostering a collaborative culture focused on performance and shared outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead Production and Manufacturing Engineering to meet delivery, cost, quality, and efficiency targets Inspire, mentor, and guide a skilled team of engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation Actively build the team’s skills and capabilities to take on complex work Manage deadlines, priorities and deliveries within an Agile environment Ensure operational performance meets business and customer requirements for lead time, quality, and manufacturing cost Drive continuous improvement and oversee production flow and shop layout Ensure manufacturing readiness in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering• Ensure cross-functional alignment across Operations and Supply Chain to ensure that inventory meets requirements Own ERP performance, including data integrity, workflows, and reporting Define and drive KPIs to monitor and improve operational performance Approve production plans and monitor execution Support supplier performance through quality feedback and delivery alignment Establish team governance and ensure compliance with quality standards and support audits (e.g. AS9100) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field / Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an asset 12+ years of relevant experience in the production of high-reliability (aerospace or space applications) electronics, electronic components, or related fields 4+ years leading and managing a team of production technicians and engineers Proven experience leading and developing teams for superior performance AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems ERP systems and business process integration (experience working with Epicor ERP an asset) Hands on experience testing digital electronics Bilingual (French and English) Must be able to obtain Canadian government security clearance (Canadian Controlled Goods Program) Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2prt26
