HR Analyst (Workday) (Nanaimo, BC; On-Site) Tilray Brands Inc. Job Summary Reporting to the Director, HCM and Compensation, the HCM and HR Analyst will deliver operational and service excellence in HR data and system functions. The role focuses on Human Capital Management (HCM) system administration, data processing, metrics, and reporting, serving as the Workday technical user to maintain HR system and data quality. Responsibilities Act as technical subject matter expert for HCM data and systems Develop, collect, analyze, and transform workforce data using databases, spreadsheets, and queries Translate findings into visualizations and develop presentations for business and HR leadership Support technical requirements for HR reporting, dashboards, and visualizations in Workday Perform data entry, extraction, cleaning, validation, and analysis to ensure data integrity across reporting and integrations Recommend data enrichment practices and conduct regular cleansing of the Workday system Serve as point of contact for complex issues across Workday modules such as HCM, absence, time tracking, payroll, benefits, and recruiting Act as escalation point for system errors or failures, coordinating resolution with Payroll, Finance, IT, and third‑party vendors Lead Workday updates: review release notes, plan and coordinate testing, and rollout releases Support HR processes and full‑cycle implementations for current modules, mergers, acquisitions, divestments, reorganizations, and restructuring Support change management, communication, training development, and execution Assist in HR process harmonization and improvement initiatives Document system Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assist with SOX/Audit compliance deliverables alongside internal and external auditors Manage HRIS ticketing inbox and day‑to‑day support tasks Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Four (4) years of current experience in HCM systems, workforce reporting, and HR operations Two (2) years of full‑cycle Workday system implementation experience Technical knowledge and configuration experience on Workday Recruitment, Absence, and Time Tracking modules Experience with Workday Payroll and integration is an asset Proficiency in Workday’s Report Writer, Worksheets, and Discovery Board Advanced Excel skills (if statements, nested formulas, vlookups, countif, pivot tables, macros) Robust analytical skills for workforce reporting and HR metrics interpretation Basic understanding of HR functional concepts and processes Basic understanding of local and global employment standards and requirements Technical mindset to integrate business needs with HR technology solutions Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multitask, and work extended hours to meet deadlines Independent work capability in global, cross‑regional, and cross‑functional environments Attention to detail managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision Ability to propose and solve complex problems in a busy environment Compensation The expected annual base salary range for this role is CAD $60,000–$85,000, subject to qualification, experience, education, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
