Overview We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Tour Guide (Walk) to lead visitors through our historic sites and attractions. Responsibilities - Lead guided walking tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring timely and organized visits. - Share detailed information about the site’s history, architecture, significance, and related topics in an engaging manner. - Answer questions from visitors clearly and confidently, fostering an interactive environment. - Manage guest flow to ensure safety and comfort during the tour. - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. - Coordinate with team members to prepare tour routes and materials as needed. - Uphold safety protocols and provide assistance in case of emergencies or visitor needs. - Promote positive customer interactions by delivering exceptional customer service throughout the tour experience. Qualifications - Excellent public speaking and communication skills with the ability to captivate audiences. - Previous experience in guiding tours, teaching, or customer service is preferred. - Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to accommodate diverse visitors. - Strong time management skills to keep tours on schedule while maintaining quality engagement. - Leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups effectively and confidently. - Passion for sharing knowledge about history, culture, or nature. - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
