In-Store Tour Guide (Niagara Falls)

We are looking for someone who is reliable, mature, energetic, and positive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and they should be able to handle customer inquiries. They must be available with flexible schedules during the tourist season (Spring through to Fall) for day, evening, and weekend shifts. During peak season we are open from 9:00AM – 8:00PM. Duties The maple tour tasting guide will be responsible for bringing customers (groups up to 50) on a guided tour of our maple syrup facility at Maple Leaf Place. They will provide customers with an educational experience, teaching them about the history of maple syrup, and how it is processed today. Finally they will be required to prepare and go through maple syrup tastings with customers. Skills Required Strong communication skills Energetic and positive Multilingualism is considered an asset. Training will be provided for handling and tour groups, presentations, knowledge on maple syrup and maple syrup related items. Worker Awareness training must be acquired and a certificate presented at the time of interview, if selected.
