Tour Guide (Walk) (Niagara Falls)

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guides (Walk) to lead visitors through our historic sites, museums, or outdoor attractions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sharing knowledge, and the ability to create memorable experiences for diverse audiences. Duties - Lead guided walking tours, providing informative and engaging commentary about the site’s history, culture, or significance - Interact with visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience - Manage tour groups efficiently, maintaining time schedules and ensuring safety protocols are followed - Answer questions from guests and provide additional insights to enhance their understanding of the site - Assist with visitor inquiries and provide directions or recommendations as needed - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tour materials and equipment - Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages visitor participation and enjoyment Requirements - Robust public speaking and communication skills with the ability to captivate an audience - Experience in customer service, teaching, or guiding groups is preferred - Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse visitors - Excellent time management skills to keep tours on schedule - Leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups effectively and confidently - Ability to work outdoors or in various weather conditions if applicable - Demonstrated enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and engaging with people of all ages - Prior experience in guiding, teaching, or related fields is a plus This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a passion for storytelling, and want to contribute to enriching visitors’ experiences.
