Overview - Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years - or equivalent experience Tasks - Clean work area - Organize and maintain inventory - Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications - Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices - Clean and maintain equipment - Operate and control: electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts - Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications - Tend automatic metal coating machines which convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions - Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat Screening questions - Are you authorized to work in Canada? - Are you available for shift or on-call work? - Are you available to start on the date listed in the job posting?
