Become an essential part of Emterra Group as an HR Generalist, supporting multiple waste and recycling sites across Ontario. Bring your expertise in employee relations, performance management, and AI-enabled HR tools to this energetic role. In this hands-on HR Generalist role, you'll partner with managers and frontline teams to enhance employee engagement and workforce planning. Your responsibilities will include supporting employee relations, onboarding, and labor compliance while fostering an inclusive workplace culture. With your proactive approach, you will directly impact waste diversion and the circular economy across Ontario. Key Responsibilities: • Act as HR business partner for multiple operations • Conduct site visits for hands-on HR support • Provide guidance on employment legislation compliance • Support performance management and engagement initiatives • Assist in developing training and health programs Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources • 1–2 years’ HR experience, preferably in a unionized setting • Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation • Excellent communication skills, bilingualism an asset • Valid driver’s license for travel across Ontario Leverage your HR skills at Emterra Group to help create a cleaner, safer setting in Ontario.
