Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a robust focus on safety, operational efficiency, and excellent driving skills. Candidates with experience in equipment operations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport equipment and freight between locations Load and unload heavy equipment and freight as necessary Ensure all equipment and freight is properly secured and complies with safety regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or repairs when needed Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, management, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Skills Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is required Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues Solid organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to work independently and adhere to strict schedules Safety certifications for equipment and transport operations are required.
