Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Culvert Relining Technician to join our construction team. This role involves the installation, repair, and restoration of culverts using specialized relining techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience with various hand tools and construction methods, along with a strong understanding of schematics and blueprint reading. Duties - Prepare culvert sites by cleaning and inspecting existing infrastructure - Use hand tools, caulking, welding, and plumbing skills to install relining materials within culverts - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation - Perform restoration tasks including construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and carpentry work as needed - Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure watertight integrity of relined culverts - Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes - Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all project phases - Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards Experience - Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades involving hand tools and schematics reading - Familiarity with culvert relining or underground infrastructure projects is preferred - Knowledge of plumbing, welding, restoration, construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and schematics interpretation is a plus - Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex installations - Prior experience working with caulking materials and performing restoration tasks is advantageous - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements This position is integral to infrastructure development projects requiring precision craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
