Description
What will you do: - Manage calibration and testing of all test equipment & safety equipment, following ISO and ATSM standards, including all vendor communications, organization and documentation. - Assist field teams in truck safety equipment management. - Execute warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and preparing orders following established procedures. - Process shipments accurately while maintaining inventory control & overstock control. - Support daily warehouse activities by following safety protocols and operating procedures. - Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse workplace. - Develop & review processes for material management to improve productivity and cost control. - Support field execution teams in preparing tools & material for projects. - Assist or lead in loading/unloading service vehicles. - Take ownership to coordinate material receipts for projects by communicating with Field Teams, project managers, order managers and plants to ensure material expedites are executed and followed up effectively. - Participate on local teams to improve site conditions, productivity, and performance. - Lift 35 lbs. with reasonable accommodation as required. - Work in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and deadlines are met, at a pace that meets expected productivity goals. - Maintain expected progress of jobs in the area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages. - Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly by performing 5‑S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar. - Perform other functions as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited school required. - Two or more years of experience in electrical service planning and material management environment is considered an asset. - A basic understanding of electrical systems and how they work. - Ability to use basic tools in a supervised preparation setting. - Able to multitask and work in a team environment. - Self-motivated, energetic and capable of working in a very fast paced environment with minimal supervision. - Ability to work overtime during the week and on weekends, as required. - Ability to provide support in a construction site environment for material handling and non-technical work. - Strong computer skills including MS Office, SAP, SMS & Salesforce. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. - Clean driver’s license. - Physical capability to perform warehouse duties safely and efficiently. - Excellent organizational skills and commitment to accuracy. Compensation & Advantages The compensation range for this full-time position, including base salary and incentive, is $90,000 to $100,000 for candidates residing in Ontario. Compensation is aligned with market data for comparable roles with similar responsibilities and scope. Individual pay within the range is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, job‑related knowledge and skills, performance, and applicable education or certifications.
