Job description: About the Company We are a fast-growing logistics and supply chain solutions provider, operating across North America and Latin America. We specialize in cross-border e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, and freight coordination. Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making for our Canadian operations. This role will manage day-to-day accounting, cash flow, and reporting while partnering with operations to drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting & Close - Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close. - Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with ASPE or IFRS. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management. 1. Accounting Operations - Oversee AP, AR, and general ledger activities. - Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records. - Coordinate payroll processing, including CPP, EI, and income tax withholdings. 1. Cash Flow & Treasury - Monitor and forecast cash flow across entities, managing CAD and USD currency exposure. - Manage banking relationships and payment processes. - Optimize working capital (receivables, payables, inventory). 1. Tax & Compliance - Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax requirements, including GST/HST/PST filings. - Oversee corporate tax filings and compliance with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). - Coordinate with external CPAs and auditors. - Support audits and regulatory reporting. 1. Business Support & Analysis - Support budgeting and forecasting processes. - Provide financial insights to operations and leadership. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - CPA (Canada) designation is preferred. - 8+ years of accounting/finance experience. - Strong knowledge of ASPE/IFRS and Canadian tax regulations. - Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite). - Strong attention to detail and hands-on execution ability. - Experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce. - Experience in multi-entity or cross-border (Canada-US) environments.
