Description
Overview As the Store Operations and Talent Manager at Sephora, you will lead the people and operational functions of your store, managing a team that typically includes Department Leads and Beauty Advisors. Responsibilities - Conduct final interviews for all key positions and use the online applicant tracking system to source, select, and hire candidates. - Manage all training‑related functions, developing and executing the store’s ongoing training strategy with the Store Director and Education partners. - Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time‑off requests, and manage payroll ensuring alignment with company, regional, and district guidelines. - Write and deliver annual performance reviews for direct reports, oversee the performance management process for the entire store, and provide timely feedback for improvement. - Oversee all store operations, ensuring processes are executed to company standards, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, returns, tester and supply control, and cycle counts. - Maintain overall responsibility for training, scheduling, payroll, and operational excellence, while demonstrating a robust understanding of the store’s sales performance and payroll expenses. Qualifications - 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail or customer service, with internal experience preferred. - Experience recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership. - Proven ability to create high‑performing teams and identify and develop in‑store talent. - Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence business partners at all levels. - Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel. - Ability to maintain composure and communicate difficult conversations when needed. Location and Schedule On‑site: 2300 Yonge St, Unit #100, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8, Canada. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Must be able to bend, stretch, stock shelves, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: CAD$54,800.00 – CAD$68,500.00, with potential performance‑based bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits program.
