Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Details - Contract Period: 5 months with potential to extend or convert - Pay Rate: Starting from $66 per hour - Location: Toronto, ON - Location Type: Hybrid - Business Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities - Develop an understanding of overall portfolio/program movement with individual lines of business and rationalize how the assigned projects fit with business priorities in the long term - Drive L&D; processes to implement learning solutions in various formats including but not limited to in-person or virtual Instructor‑led training (ILT), eLearning, webinars, self‑directed learner pathways, and workshops - Lead the end‑to‑end planning and execution of medium‑to‑high complexity L&D; projects, leveraging key project management tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget - Support the vendor selection, engagement and onboarding process when third‑party learning solutions are within scope - Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies - Build relationships and maintain regular communications with internal and external stakeholders - Report on project progress with project teams and business stakeholders at different levels - In partnership with L&D; CoEs and business partners, support the development of a delivery strategy, change & launch communications plan, and maintenance plan - Ensure tight governance control and actively manage/resolve risks and issues - Conduct project retrospectives and act on lessons learned for continuous improvement - Stay current with emerging trends in project management inclusive of Agile and hybrid project practices and principles - Be an active member of the broader project management community by sharing subject matter expertise and learning to advance professional growth Experience & Qualification Requirements - Post secondary education required - 7-10 years of project management experience - Prior L&D; experience in performance consulting, design, development, facilitation, and/or learning technologies is beneficial - Thorough understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies - PMP, Agile and/or Scrum certification - Practical knowledge in adult learning principles for various delivery methods - Proven track record of delivering results and commitment to operational and service excellence - Strong client focus with ability to listen and quickly learn about various clients and become a trusted advisor on delivery learning solutions successfully - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently with changing business priorities in a rapid‑paced environment - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build relationships effectively, leveraging sound communication, negotiation, consensus‑building and influencing skills - Ability to tailor communications to different stakeholders at different levels - Solutions‑focused, “can‑do” attitude to foster positive team morale and high engagement - Excel in translating business needs into learning requirements in collaboration with L&D; partners - Robust critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills - Highly adaptable and flexible with ability to take initiative in a dynamic work environment - Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS Project - Competency in team meeting facilitation in virtual environments leveraging collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Webex - Experience with LMS and LXP is a bonus - Experience with eLearning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, HTML5) and development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rice) - Strong organizational skills and communication skills How to Apply If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
