You will be part of a collaborative team that develops, enhances, and maintains applications in an environment using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall software development techniques. You are…A self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, have good problem-solving skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.An individual who can work with minimal supervision.An excellent communicator with a strong positive attitude.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop application code using Angular 13 +, Spring Boot, JBossDevelop and Deploy application on OpenShift platformPrepare technical documentationProvide detailed development estimatesEnsure that solutions adhere to development best practices and architectural principlesParticipate in integration and regression testingImplement security policies as set out by TeranetParticipate in the team’s second level of support rotation, which also includes after hour and weekend support as neededWhat You BringSoftware engineering, computer science or related degree plus 2+ years software development experience using a Java web application stackHands-on experience with Angular 13 and above, includingAngular custom themingAngular MaterialRxJSExperience in Spring boot and JBoss is nice to haveImplementation and use of RESTful APIsExperience working in an Agile Team environment as well as work independentlyStrong knowledge of SDLC concepts, practices and proceduresStrong knowledge of source control software (preferably Git)Familiarity with continuous integration, dependency management and code review tools (preferably Jenkins, Maven, Gerrit)Knowledge of Oracle databaseNice to Have SkillsExposure to Continuous delivery concepts (deployment pipelines etc.)OpenShift/KubernetesAzure KnowledgeKnowledge of Jira toolExperience developing client facing, W3C standards and AODA compliant, web applications supporting multiple browsers and operating systemsLet’s Talk PayWe believe in being upfront about pay and helping you make informed decisions about your career. The annual pay range for this role is $104,000-$115,000 CAD, inclusive of base salary and target incentive pay.
