A Food Assembler will be required to: - Assemble meals / appetizers / desserts or passenger meal trays depending on which department you’re chosen for to exacting customer specifications - Strictly follow all relevant food safety protocols - Work safely at all times, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines - Ensure all food & equipment boarded is safe and complies with airline related security requirements Job Specific Requirements: - Obtain and maintain, a Transport Canada Security Clearance - Manage your time and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, time sensitive setting Our Employees Must Be Able to: - work in a detailed and methodical manner while adhering to tight timelines dictated by the airline industry - work an assigned schedule which may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays - work overtime when required - arrive to work on-time - pass a criminal background check - follow directions and communicate with supervisors and co-workers - depending on what position you are selected for, you may be required to work a significant number of hours per day in a temperature reduced environment - work as a member of a team within their department and work closely with various other departments - Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds Education Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent Rate of Pay: CA$20.85 per hour If you want to be part of a team that helps make travel and culinary memories, join us!
