Join Globe 24-7 as an Underground Senior Geotechnical Engineer in northern Ontario. Play a crucial role in leading ground control efforts and ensuring safe mining operations. This senior-level position requires an experienced engineer responsible for implementing ground control management plans. Report directly to the Technical Services Manager and liaise with operational teams to enhance safety and efficiency in the mine. Your expertise in geotechnical engineering design and seismic risk management is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and update ground control management plans annually • Conduct rock mass characterization and seismic risk analysis • Supervise ground control team for timely issue resolution • Ensure QA/QC in support installation and testing methods • Prepare technical reports and recommendations Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field • Minimum eight years' geotechnical experience • Eligibility for qualified engineering registration • Solid knowledge of underground mine operations • Availability for a 7-on / 7-off schedule Contribute to safety and operational success with Globe 24-7 in an exciting underground setting.
