Technical Expert – Engineering – Electrical Systems Integration Bombardier designs, builds and maintains world‑class aircraft. In this role, you will lead electrical systems technical improvements and support the integration of systems such as power generation, distribution and lighting across our aircraft lines. Responsibilities Participate and lead electrical systems technical improvements and developments for existing and future airplane programs. Prepare, review, or approve engineering documents related to electrical system changes on our Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 airplanes (production and in‑service). Propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimise aircraft on emissions, cost, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction. Lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems. Conduct trade studies for new technology introduction and integration. Contribute to the electrical knowledge domain to capture lessons learned and best industry practices and mentor junior members. Manage interfaces with internal and external partners and suppliers. Represent the electrical discipline with internal and external collaborators. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering. Minimum of 10 years in aircraft electrical system integration or related experience. Deep knowledge of industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL‑STD, etc.) and airworthiness regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA). Interest in pursuing Transport Canada delegate role (DAD) at Bombardier. Solid analytical and systems‑thinking skills. Effective communication skills for diverse audiences and stakeholder risk articulation. Leadership experience and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Position Details Locations: Bombardier Montréal, Québec or Bombardier Toronto, Ontario. Hybrid work: remote and on‑site.
