Date Posted: 2026-04-29 Country: Canada Location: CA-ON-OAKVILLE-1400, 1400 S Service Rd W Position Role Type: Onsite Machine Operator - Shotpeen Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a Machine Operator - Shotpeen; you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the robotic shot peening process as required. Responsibilities Set up equipment by loading and unloading robotic shot peening work centers. Follow part process techniques, operation sketches, and special handler instructions, including loading/unloading of shot peen machines and controlling airflow, intensity and pressure. Work alongside Process Technicians to optimize machines and produce quality parts. Monitor and optimize efficiencies of the automated line. Read operating procedure sketches and work instructions to identify requirements. Minimize and mitigate machine downtime through the use of the ANDON system. Maintain acceptable production and quality levels, keep departmental equipment in good working order, practice safety, and maintain good housekeeping. Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities, and Standard Work Development in the cell. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma and at least one year of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong PC skills and understanding of written work instructions. Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations. Eligibility to work in Canada and meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP. Preferred: Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane safely. Salary and Benefits Salary range: 61,334 CAD - 77,738 CAD. This estimate is representative of all experience levels.
