Quality Inspector/Production Coordinator – Evening Shift Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Requisition #034037. Position is currently open. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual and measurement inspections on incoming and in-process materials. Confirm quality and specifications, communicate required adjustments, and reject and return unacceptable materials as necessary. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand requirements of products and services. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications. Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests. Return products for re‑work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re‑work. Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs. Ensure measurement equipment is operating correctly by adhering to all operating instructions and performing preventive maintenance and repairs. Look for opportunities to adjust and improve production processes and procedures. Inform supervisor when quality issues and concerns arise. Assist the supervisor, as needed, with various audits and compliance projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience; may require vocational or technical education. Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of and ability to use multiple types of measuring equipment (e.g., scales, measuring tapes, micrometers, calipers, etc.). Good written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to analyze and present findings in a clear, concise, and logical manner. Good organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in a quick‑paced environment. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.44–$27.98 per hour. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $17.44 and $17.44. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
