Multi Entity Financial Controller Role Edmonton

Take charge as a Controller in a growing restaurant organization. Manage full-cycle accounting, bookkeeping, and develop actionable financial insights using R365 to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. In this newly created role reporting to the CFO, you will initially focus on core accounting tasks to understand processes deeply. Collaborate with franchise General Managers and use technology tools effectively. As you settle into the role, you will expand responsibilities to include financial analysis and mentoring for future leadership roles. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough bookkeeping and account reconciliations • Coordinate accurate entries of sales and expenses • Manage month-end and CRA close processes • Develop SOPs and serve as a power user of R365 • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvement Requirements: • 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience • Required CPA designation • Proficient in Excel and accounting software • Experience in a multi-entity setting favored • Experience in hospitality or retail sector advantageous Shape the future of accounting within a thriving organization by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal financial reporting.
