Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Python Teacher to join our after-school program on a part-time basis. Duties - Deliver engaging Python programming lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels, ensuring concepts are accessible and fun. - Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and curiosity. - Develop creative lesson plans, projects, and activities that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. - Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. - Ensure safety protocols are followed, including basic first aid procedures when necessary, and promote respectful behavior among all participants. - Collaborate with program coordinators to assess curriculum effectiveness and suggest improvements for future sessions. - Foster an inclusive workplace that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes positive social interactions. Experience - Prior experience teaching or tutoring children in programming, computer science, or related STEM fields is highly desirable. - Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet lively learning environment. - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development is a plus. - Experience working with children with special educational needs or in camp settings is beneficial. - Certification or training in first aid, child safety, or behavior management is preferred. - Background in childcare, daycare, babysitting, or youth programs can enhance your effectiveness as an instructor. - Familiarity with Christian counseling or theater arts can be advantageous for creating engaging lesson activities.
